My favourite is lemon and manuka honey in hot water with ginger for drinking and salt for gargling.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05799594980600477320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649192832476515234.post-77757245906337852452011-09-14T22:39:23.619+01:002011-09-14T22:39:23.619+01:00Thank you for the tips! It tastes yum and it's good for you - you can also add a little bit of grated ginger for an added boost. My kids always ask for it now when they're a bit under the weather (and even when they're not, sometimes!)
Hope you're better now
Emily xEmilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17425291811913248009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649192832476515234.post-7659487242195621992011-09-13T20:52:12.431+01:002011-09-13T20:52:12.431+01:00What about TCP, tastes disgusting, but seems to nu...What about TCP, tastes disgusting, but seems to nuke the germs and numbs the throat. You have to dilute it, but I think the instructions are on the bottle.

Hope you are feeling better soon!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649192832476515234.post-9679243435559555332011-09-13T18:42:51.532+01:002011-09-13T18:42:51.532+01:00I'm afraid I'm all about better living thr...I'm afraid I'm all about better living through chemistry so I have no words of wisdom to offer you, but lots of sympathy. Also good is elderberry cordial with lemon but I guess you wouldn't have that in stock at this time of year if ever!! Hope your throat is better soon and isn't heralding a cold.Marigold Jamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02895195019277206960noreply@blogger.com
