Away

Passing Crosby...

We stopped & photographed...

Saw the remnants of yarn bombing...

Then waited for the sun to set...

The statues are a strange sight, aren't they! I suppose, given how far the tide comes in, we shouldn't be surprised that the yarn bombing didn't last very long...

That last photo is particularly beautiful.

(For some reason that statue makes me think of science fiction movies.)

I'm always fascinated by how this work affects people. Being approximately local to it (30 miles away) I am able to see it in all weathers and seasons and it is different every time.

"Another Place" is strangely fascinating isn't it?! I really like the yarn bombing now it's weathered... it's like fishing net.

Have a lovely time
I can recommend popping into the Bluecoat in Liverpool ;-)

I should love to see those, I am a big fan of Anthony Gormley. I read about the yarn bombing some time ago and wondered how it would stand the test of time. Your pictures are super.
