That marmalade jar is just like those that I remember from my Virginia childhood. In this day, the marmalade company has transitioned into less aesthetic packaging (at least less to my eyes.)
Gorgeous. I love the simplicity of a bunch of sweet peas in the black and cream container and adore the more flamboyant bunch too. I have just collected the seed heads on my honesty plants to sow in a pot to plant out for next year. It was one of the most useful plants for cutting and they lasted the longest in water.
Along with the others I love both of these, one for it's simplicity and the other for its exuberance. Hope you've saved or scattered the seeds from those poppy heads, they are so large that they must have been beautiful poppies. CKx

How pretty, I must see how much Honesty I have in my patch.
Lovely - especially the seedheads!
I have really really loved these little posies - you have done wonders and the little arrangements are always so beautifully displayed too.
Oh they look absolutely beautiful!
Wow, they are gorgeous! That's an impressive display of flowers. And I love that cream pot in the first photo.

I love your posts!
I've kept mine going too, except for one week when I succumbed to a desperate need for something huge from a shop!
Sweet peas have to be my favourite flower!

Pretty, very pretty! I love the combination of roses and seed heads.
Both are lovely, and that second arrangement is breathtaking - so lush and full and elegant.
