Making Winter December Blog Hop

Welcome to the Making Winter blog hop for December! (The November blog hop can be found here)

At last the temperatures here seem to be dropping. It is starting to feel like winter...but we're still waiting for the snow to reach this part of East Anglia...

The aim of the Making Winter Project was to help convince winter-haters to fully embrace the season.

Chatting with Emma from Silverpebble, she's admitted that she's beginning to feel quite positive about winter this year.

We've had a go at crocheting, made some firelighters, tested some limoncello & planned lots more activities to continue to convince her that there is a positive side to winter!

The Making Winter Flickr Pool is looking suitably seasonal & is well worth popping over to.

If you'd like to join in with the Making Winter festivities, please add your link below then we can all pop along for a festive visit...

Hi, Mrs. TH! I'm going to have to go back and read more of your posts - I'm liking your way of thinking. I'm intrigued by the "buy nothing new" month - what a great idea! (Though here in the US, the economy could use some stimulus.) Thanks for hosting this blog hop.

Yes I too went back and read some old posts. I love the doll project and the buttons on duvet.
I am spraying the dead heads of hydrangea silver as we speak and will assemble on the fire surround tomorrow. If it looks good I'll put it up.

I'm very glad to hear that the making winter campaign is winning Emma over - keep up the good work!

Your Winter projects have been rather fun. Need to try that limoncello one...

I have linked and hope you don't mind that most of my making is food! I am knitting and crocheting too but feel a bit daunted by the skills on show here. The limoncello now, I can do that!

Bit late with this as the first time around I visited my pooter would play ball and didn't show everything (too slow) so I didn't understand what was supposed to happen! Duh! Now I do :)

Thank you for this. All very inspiring and I've added my tuppeny (don't know how you spell it)worth. I'd grab the button too if I knew how. Fran :)

Hope it was okay to add a second link. The games may not be a 'make' as such but they certainly make winter for me.
